far away

i'm in florida now! i surprised my parents with a visit. i walked in on friday night and yelled, "i'm home!". i miss my parents and sister, so it's nice to be able to get here and spend some time. my dad gave me a tour of his many gardens yesterday morning. i made a picture album.

another treat is that my cousins are here with their twin 2.5-year-olds. they are funny, smart kids. my flight home is tonight. poop.

I'm so glad you got to surprise your parents! Were they freaked out when you walked in?

my mom was totally freaked! her jaw dropped to the floor. my dad was in bed and had to put on pants to greet me, so i didn't see his initial freakedness. but they were both very happily surprised.
