Parental Visitors
My mom and dad visited us this weekend. It was a sun filled (well, Saturday), food filled, rest filled weekend.
On Saturday, I had a swim/bike workout. My dad accompanied me to the gym and waited for me to finish swimming, and then we rode bikes to the boardwalk. It was fun to ride with him. Then we all went to the beach for three hours. There was napping and lunch and glorious weather. That night, my mom and I went to Jordan Lobster Farm to purchase a seafood feast that would last two nights. Shrimp, scallops, lobster tails, crab cakes, calamari salad, lobster pasta salad, and tomato/mozzarella salad. It was too much, even for 2 nights. There are a LOT of leftovers in the fridge!
On Sunday, my mom and I braved the crappy day traffic and went shopping. We looked at outdoor lights at Lowes and Home Depot Expo. I think nautical lamps (like below) in a darker shade would be cool on our beach house.

It was a fun visit. Drive home safely, parents!

Your parental units enjoyed the visit. Wish it were longer.
