At about 2:30am, Mason was crying in bed. I went in to him, and he was saying, "oh no! oh no!" Poor guy had a bad dream! I snuggled with him and asked him what happened. "Where's vacrosse (lacrosse) ball?" I told him it was ok, that we would find it in the morning. I asked him if he knew where it was. In a sad voice he answered,"it on roof!" I told him that it was in the living room (he was tossing it around last night) and we would find it in the morning. He seemed ok with that and fell asleep. I went back to my bed.
At about 3:15am, he was crying again. This time it was "I want it! I want it! I want it!" He never opened his eyes this time. I snuggled him and we both passed out. I snuck out around 4am. This morning when he climbed in our bed (as he does every morning when he wakes up) I asked him what he wanted last night when he was saying "I want it". He told me, all matter-of-factily, "vacrosse ball!" I should have known.
Mr. Sporty has nightmares about losing his sporting equipment. He has a lot of sporting equipment. I wonder what will end up on the roof next!

Yeah, he didn't seem to remember.
He woke up this morning at 6am, again crying, "oh no! oh no!" I just climbed in with him and got him back to sleep (after a while of tossing and turning). Poor sad sleepy guy!
