He Gets It!

Here are some questions/words/phrases that Mason understands/responds to...

• Say Daddy (he says anything from "da da da" to "la la la", but it's all "daddy")
• Daddy
• Mommy
• Pa (pacifier)
• Dog/woof woof
• Basher? (he looks around for Bash)
• Fish (then he looks at me and I make a "fish face")
• Can I have a kiss?/Kiss Mommy (he gives a great big open mouthed slobber kiss)
• Where's the baby? (he looks for the baby on the yogurt cup or in a photo or in real life)
• Milk? (he giggles nervously and sometimes gets fussy)
• Eat
• Ohhhh, how nice! (he will rest his head on Will's chest for a moment or on his own shoulder)
• Share, with your palm out (he gives you what he's holding)
• Do ABC (he will go to his ABC Discovery Ball and spin it!)

Morning Greetings & Words

I had the best wake-up greeting this morning! Will brought Mason in bed and I rolled over to see him grinning at me. Then Mason gave me tons of slobbery baby kisses. Open mouth, right on my closed mouth. Love that kid.

In other news, he's really close to saying "daddy"! He was saying "I-I" for a while every time I said "daddy", and n ow it's either "I-I" or "die-I". We're working on "mommy", too, but it sounds like "ba ba", which is also what "basher" sounds like. We have more work to do...
