I forgot to report that Mason's third tooth poked through on June 29! It is the right top tooth. The left one may have poked through as of today. His gums hurt so much they're making him cry and have a fever. So I'm not about to check now.

While we're on the subject of teeth, I'd like to report that I've been bitten TWICE in the past week while nursing! That hurts for about half an hour after the fact! Both times it happened in the living room, while the TV was on and the dog was running around. Too much distraction. A quiet, dark room is my nursing room of choice now, if I want to continue doing it, and I do!

Mason's second bottom tooth popped through on Monday (May 7)! I thought he (and we) would get some relief from the teething, but the pain continues... Maybe we'll see a top tooth or two soon!

I tried to get a good picture of his sprouted first tooth...

Teeth

A week and a half ago (Monday, April 9) Will came back from the library with Mason and told me he felt a tooth! I felt it, too, on the bottom! YAY, Mason's teeth! This weekend a second tooth started coming in. Not sure where, it hasn't made itself apparent to us yet. But we know it's coming from the crying and bad moods the kid has been displaying this week! Poor little guy. We rotate between infant Motrin, Orajel swabs, Hylands Teething Tablets, and infant Tylenol. I hope this tooth comes in soon. It's surely giving him more trouble than that first one. But not so much trouble that he can't ham it up for the camera...
