Mason knows the word "metamorphosis". And he knows it means when a caterpillar becomes a butterfly. Well, he says, "mososis", and when you ask what it means, he says, "cooooocooooon!". So thank you, Leo, Annie, Quincy, June and Rocket. A job well done.
He says, "dagio" (adagio), and he has memorized so many episodes that he starts their dance moves or hand motions before they tell him to. He knows Big Jet is the villain. He holds his nose and says, "P.U., Det!" when he's on the screen. (I may have prompted that by telling him "Big Jet stinks" one or ten times!)
He also asks for episodes by "name": A snort is for an episode with the Three Little Pigs, preferrably the one called "Superfast", but he'll take "Build It Rocket" or "Farmer Annie" in a pinch. "Amoon" means ballons, and he wants "Birthday Balloons", which is his very favorite. "Cheese" is for "Rocket Soup", and while he watches he'll want to eat a slice of cheese "cheese? sice?" and NOT a cheese stick. "Mama? Daddy?" is for "The Birthday Machine", which takes place in Florence, Venice and Pisa, all places Mama and Daddy have been. "Hic!" is for "Hungarian Hiccups", where Rocket has the hiccups and has to get rid of them before the Big Sky Race. And "Door?" is for "The Treasure Behind The Little Red Door", which has a helpful spider ("berber") and Big Jet with coconut milk all over him ("EW!").
I know way too many eps by name! I have to get out more. For the record, my favorites are "The Northern Night Lights", where they make scary things into silly things, and "Annie and the Beanstalk", where they used a lot of Van Gogh paintings to portray the giant's whole house, and I think Van Gogh's self portrait for the actual giant.
